The integrated SCR denitrification system solution designed by Hebei Hanlan Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. for a company was implemented on the ground. The solution includes two integrated SCR denitrification systems for the tail gas of 23 units of 540kW calcium carbide gas-fired units. In order to make full use of the combustible gases such as carbon monoxide produced during the calcium carbide production process as fuel to drive the internal combustion engine to generate electricity and waste heat recovery equipment, and at the same time to denitrify the exhaust gas, the owner proposed to gather the flue gas from 11 calcium carbide gas units into one equipment, and the flue gas from the other 12 units into one equipment for denitrification, and must design an automatic control system according to the requirements of the thermal system to meet the performance of fully automatic and unmanned work, etc. The design of the automatic control system will be based on the requirements of the thermal system and will be fully automated and unmanned.
After surveying the site, our technicians decided to use the SCR furnace denitrification process of spraying NH3 into the flue and mixing it evenly with the flue gas according to the actual situation and requirements of the project, using the special catalyst developed by us for denitrification of internal combustion engines. This design not only retains the advantages of small footprint, reliable operation and high purification efficiency, but also improves the energy utilisation rate. The use of a low cost medium temperature denitrification catalyst can achieve the expected results, which greatly saves investment and operating costs for the customer.
With the addition of Wanchun's SCR denitrification system, the nitrogen oxide (NOx) content in the flue gas has been reduced from the original emission concentration of 4500mg/Nm3 to within 120mg/Nm3, which not only fully meets the requirements of the local environmental protection standards in terms of denitrification efficiency, but also means another new leap in the goal of ultra-low emissions for our company. For the owner, it is of practical and exemplary significance in terms of making full use of energy, integrating and optimising resources, saving space, saving investment and operating costs, as well as taking into account economic benefits and social values.
